THE IONIAN MODE MAPPED OUT FOR 7 STRING GUITAR

THE IONIAN MODE MAPPED OUT FOR SEVEN STRING GUITAR, that's right, 7 string guitar!

I don't play seven string myself, but I've had a few requests for some diagrams of scales mapped out for 7 string guitar.

Given my obsessive compulsive personality, there will be a lot more seven string stuff coming, so follow and check back soon if this is your thing!

These diagrams are for standard 7 string tuning, so B,E,A,D,G,B,E, although if you are using another tuning with same relative intervals then the movable shapes will still apply.

The free guitar scale diagrams below lay out the IONIAN MODE for you all over the neck of the seven string guitar as a four note per string scale and as the seven three note per string patterns that will link together to let you play it all over the fretboard in any key.
